Cancellation Policy Please provide at least 24 hours’ notice if you need to cancel or reschedule. Cancellations with less than 24 hours’ notice will incur a $50 fee. This helps ensure that time reserved for you is honored. Thank you for understanding.

Payment Information Desert Acupuncture does not accept insurance. You can request a superbill. You may add a credit card or flex spending account to your profile for convenient payment.

Dr Iris Gerber

Dr Iris Gerber’s true calling and mission is promoting health, wellness, healing, and longevity through mindfulness and Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM).

Dr Gerber obtained the degrees of Doctor of Acupuncture and Chinese Medicine, and Master of Science in Traditional Oriental Medicine from Pacific College of Health and Science. She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Natural Resources Planning from Cal Poly Humboldt. Dr Gerber earned her Associate’s degree from Imperial Valley College in General Studies.

Dr Gerber is a board certified licensed acupuncturist and herbalist specializing in multiple treatment modalities such as women’s health, cosmetic acupuncture, mental and emotional wellbeing, orthopedics, pain management, and internal medicine.

Iris has a 200 hr Yoga Teacher Training certification and teaches yoga at Ananda Yoga Bliss in Imperial, CA and Yoga en Español at All 7 Fitness in El Centro, CA. Iris specializes in restorative yoga, Yoga Nidra (guided relaxation meditation), sound healing, and Vinyasa. She wholeheartedly believes compassion, nutrition, stress management, movement, laughter, and heart centered care is the best medicine.
